Todos los días tienen algo especial, y no lo decimos nosotros, sino la propia historia, que riega cada día del año con acontecimientos que merecen ser recordados.
Nuestro equipo de profesores de Blue Parrot School, en esta ocasión, ha decidido traeros un ejercicio para preparar el C2 en el que se toma como temática algunos acontecimientos que han tenido lugar el 16 de febrero, una fecha que como todos sabemos está a caballo entre San Valentín y Carnaval, y que por tanto suele pasar más desapercibida.
Se trata de un ejercicio de autorrespuesta con vocabulario de inglés C2 para que puedas realizarlo desde cualquier dispositivo con total comodidad, disfrutar aprendiendo y ir un peldaño más arriba en esa apasionante escalera que es aprender un idioma.

En este ejercicio de autorrespuesta, similar a la parte tercera del examen de Cambridge de C2, con el que podrás certificar que tu nivel de inglés es del máximo nivel exigible, tendrás que cambiar la raíz de la palabra, que aparece en naranja, para que encaje con el texto. In terms of famous people being born on this day, look no further than the doctor himself (no, we are not talking about Doctor Who), but the Italian two-wheeled wizard himself Valentino Rossi. Rossi, born in 1979, is widely considered to be the greatest motorcycle racer of all time, with an incredible nine _____ (champion) titles to his name.
However, Rossi is not the only sports legend to be born on this day. American tennis superstar John McEnroe was also born on the 16th in 1959. To this day, McEnroe has the highest _____ (combine) single’s and double’s titles in the modern Open Era, something that may become _____ (reach) with how tennis has changed.
